DPS - Deluxe Creepy Custom Paint

I've been busy in the ol' workshop with custom paint work to start the New Year. The latest piece to get finished was a Don Post Studios Deluxe Uncle Creepy for a private collector.



Here are a few shots of the process. The first step was to create custom eye inserts...

Next, on to the base coat...

And on to the eyes...

Finally, Creepy gets a hair-do and collar...

Devil's Workshop Masks at Astro Zombies

 A batch of 8 retro style masks went out across the Pacific ocean earlier last week with a final destination of Astro Zombies in Japan. Astro Zombies is now offering Devil's Workshop masks to it's customers! The Devil's Workshop has gone international!!!

2012 Halloween Expo

Four Devil's Workshop sculpts will be featured in the Trick or Treat Studios line-up this year! The Night Owl Ghoul took some wonderful shots of the ToT display at the the 2012 Halloween Expo. It was super cool to see my sculptures on display at the Expo...

Custom Paint - DP Nosferatu

There's been a lot of custom painting for private collectors here at the Devil's Workshop this past month. One of the customs that I had a blast working on is this Don Post Studios Nosferatu. The mask showed up in a Pale Blue color scheme, and the collector wanted a more traditional vintage paint scheme similar to the ones originally released in 1979. Here's the final custom paint before I shipped him back out...
